Obituary of Marjorie Jane Schober

Marjorie Jane Schober, 89, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went to be with our Lord on Friday, February 27th at Solvay Hospice House. Marjorie was born on May 20, 1925 in South Milwaukee, WI to George and Lillian Stokes. She married he high school sweetheart, Ernest Schober on December 1, 1945. She was a teacher’s aide at Woodland Hills in Duluth for 16 years. Following her retirement in 1985 they moved to Carolina Shores, NC where they lived for 25 years and then moved back to Duluth, MN in 2010. She loved cross stich needlework, reading, traveling, playing golf and raising her 6 children. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; sister Eileen Barber; son Richard Schober and her daughter Susan Wisocki. She is survived by her husband Ernest; sons Tom, Jim (Becky), Dan (Rosi), Jeff; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many relatives and friends. A Catholic Mass will be held at Elsing Chapel at Ecumen Lakeshore on Saturday, March 7th at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
