Obituary of Donna Christine Zimm

Donna Christine Zimm, of Duluth, went to be with her Savior on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, while in hospice care at St. Luke’s Hospital, in Duluth. Donna graduated from Stanbrook Hall in Duluth, attended the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin, Superior. She worked for the city of Duluth and was a legal secretary at Minnesota Power for many years. Donna enjoyed camping, kayaking, bird watching, gardening and an annual spring trip to Florida, where she and Abigail camped in state parks and enjoyed sunsets on the beach. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Elizabeth Currie. She is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Abigail Stubblefield; four step-children, Peter, Tom, Mary and John; sisters, Peggy Lundberg of Moose Lake, Mary Midtling of Ely and brother, Will Currie of Ely.
