Obituary of Margaret Grace Murray
Maggi passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 7, 2015. Preceded in death by husband, Dr. John Murray; parents, John and Florence Vierling; sister, Delores. Survived by her loving sons, Scott (Maria), Joel (Mary), and Kent (Lisa); grandchildren, Nate, Jon (Tami), Ben, Anjali (Jaison), Reena, Rachel, Ellie, Patrick, and Daniel; great grandchildren, Alex and Brooke; many cherished life-long friends from St. Joseph Academy and the College of St. Catherine. Maggi will be remembered for her unwavering Catholic faith and her strong relationship with God. She was an intercessor to us all. Born at home during the depression in the Midway area of St. Paul. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in 1945. She took great pride in being a dedicated mother and grandmother while being a steward of churches, schools, and the community of Roseville. Her creativity and passion for life will be missed by all. Special thanks to the staff at the Lino Lakes Assisted Living for their unyielding compassionate care during her time there. Memorial Mass on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 10am with visitation one hour prior at Church of the Assumption, 51 - 7th St., W. St. Paul. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
