Obituary of Monica B Heiden

HEIDEN (Stormoen), Monica B., age 63, of Blaine, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving children on April 9th, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude (Tony) Lauinger and Carl Olson. She will be deeply missed by her children, Alecia (Trent) Gunderson, Ryan Forbes, Jared (Megan) Heiden, and Amber (David) Cordes. She was an incredible Nana to her grandchildren, Rylee, Landen, Rayna, Lexcy, Reghan, and Ethan. She was loved by many relatives and good friends. Monica enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, whether it was in a cold hockey arena, a dance competition, a cheer meet, teaching Ethan how to clean up his toys at Nana’s, or trying not to get hit by flying volleyballs or softballs. When she wasn’t spending time with her beloved grandchildren she enjoyed her trips for girls’ weekend, weekends at the cabin, playing bingo – where she always had to get more boards then the rest of us, or dinner with family and friends where she always made sure we had enough food. She was a hard worker her entire life and cared deeply for the people she worked with at Michael Foods. She was so grateful for your love and support during her journey. Monica’s Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, April 13th at Rush Creek, 7801 County Road 101, Maple Grove, MN 55311. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at 5pm.
