Obituary of Chase Hunter DeDominces

Chase Hunter DeDominces, age 20, lifelong resident of Duluth, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 the result of a snowmobile accident. He was born November 21, 1994 in Duluth to Rod and Terrie DeDominces; graduated with Honors in 2013 from East High School and was currently on the Dean’s List at UMD pursuing a degree in civil engineering. Chase was like a brother to many and a friend to all. His upbeat personality and contagious smile would lighten up any room. He was adventurous and more than anything love to have fun. Fishing and hunting with his dog Blue were his passions in life. If you didn’t know where Chase was, you were sure to find him on a northern Minnesota lake or in the woods. Chase was also an unbelievably caring individual, who would help anyone without hesitation. A competitive and talented athlete in many sports, Chase was a leader both on and off the field. Preceded in death by grandmother, Nancy (Dryke) DeDominces and grandfather, Paul Hunter. Survived by his parents; grandmother, Donna Hunter: grandfather, Anthony DeDominces; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his furry brothers, Tucker and Blue. Shared memories of Chase’s life from 11:30am to 12:30pm followed by a celebration of his life Saturday, March 28th at East High School, 301 N. 40th Ave. East (corner of 40th Ave. E. & Superior St.).
