Obituary of Doris J. Lindgren

Doris J. Lindgren, 86, of Duluth, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015, in Solvay Hospice House with her family by her side. Doris was born in Ottertail County, Minn., March 14, 1929, to John and Inga (Hilde) Loften. She was united in marriage to Edward H. Lindgren Oct. 15, 1948. Doris will be loved and missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband; several brothers; one sister; and her parents. Doris is survived by her children, Linda (Jack) Shanoff, Gary Lindgren, Darrell (Marybeth) Lindgren and Vicky Lindgren; grandchildren Sarah (Mark) Tollers and Christopher Lindgren; great-grandson Dante Foote-Lindgren; and many extended family members and friends. VISITATION: 2 until the 3 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, April 1, in First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
