Obituary of Don Anderson

Don "Donny" Anderson, 54, passed away April 2, 2015. He was born Oct. 4, 1960 in Duluth. His mother passed away when he was 13 and he was raised by his grandparents. As he got older, he moved back and forth from Duluth to Brea, Calif., and was quite the salesman for years. Donny loved to drink Bud Light and barbecue. Having a good time and being a clown with his friends is what he is known for. He was a big sports fanatic and loved the Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Lakers and Anaheim Angels, all teams which he went and saw many games for. When Donny wasn't watching a game or barbecuing, you could find him riding his Harley Davidson. His vehicles were like his adopted children, as he would wash and wax his truck and Mustang weekly. Donny was very well known and has many friends who love him. Donny has two daughters, Tara McDevitt and Nicole Anderson; two grandsons Dylan McDevitt and Brodie Luna. His family loves and misses him dearly and hopes he's upstairs right now looking down drinking a cold one. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 in the Cremation Society of MN, Duluth.
