Obituary of James E. Lepak
James E. Lepak, 81, of Duluth, passed away of pulmonary fibrosis on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Chris Jensen Health Center.
James was born in Duluth, on March 23, 1934 to Ernest and Angela (Kranz) Lepak.
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. After he returned to Duluth he worked for Clyde Iron Works for a number of years and also worked construction. James will be remembered for his generosity and wonderful sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis.
James is survived by his children, Margaret Ann, Ernest J., Susan M., Richard J. (Annette) and David (Debbie) Lepak; six grandchildren, Ashley, Eric, Jeremy and Nicholas Lepak and Nathan and Jennifer Larsen; two sisters, Nancy Humphrey and Kathy (Bill) Erickson as well as many extended family members and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at McCarthy Manor for all of their wonderful care.
