Obituary of Lance Kevin Erceg
Lance Kevin Erceg, 47, of Duluth, died unexpectedly on April 10, 2015.
He was born Feb. 4, 1968 in Virginia, Minn.
He graduated from Virginia High School in 1986 at which time he entered the United States Navy serving the next eight years at the Naval Air Stations in Whidbey Island Washington and Millington Tennessee. After leaving the Navy, Lance continued his work as an Aircraft Mechanic for Northwest Airlines and AAR, as well as owning the Saginaw Grand Lake (Union) Station bar and grill for six years.
Lance was preceded in death by his mother Karen (Terry) Marwick; father Alan Erceg; uncle David (Linda) Erceg; grandparents Frank and Eunice Erceg; Andrew and Esther Laiti.
Lance is survived by his wife of 23 years Charisse; his three children Dawkin, Fayja Rose and Talon; brothers Brad (Kelly) Erceg, Jamie (Jen) Erceg; niece Ashley Erceg; step-father Terry (Carol) Marwick and uncle Brent (Laura) Laiti. He is also survived by his close friends Jacki Mae Kalash, her daughter Kadince McKinnon, Donald (Amber) Wilson, Steve Berglund and Eric Fairbanks.
SERVICE: 11 a.m. Saturday April 18, in Sacred Heart Church 603 12th at north in Virginia Minn. Followed by a gathering and lunch at the northern club in Virginia. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to the Lance Erceg Memorial fund at any Wells Fargo bank to assist with funeral costs as well as the children's college funds.
