Obituary of Dale Haagensen

Age 88 of McGregor, MN. Born 3/18/30 and passed away 4/13/18 after long battle with COPD. Dale was a Korean war veteran. He married Mary "Sis" Strauss July 9th, 1954. Retired from Clyde Iron in Duluth, MN. Dale always showed his kind heart, giving nature, fun-loving spirit, sense of humor, contagious laugh, & joke telling. Dale is survived by his brother Gordon (Pat), four daughters, Paulette, Rosie (Johnny), Janet (Brad) and Donna, grandchildren, Rhonda, Susie, Jeffrey, Dale, Bradley, Kyle, Kara, Tommy & Katie as well as many great-grandchildren, many friends and relatives. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary "Sis", parents, Ole & Evina, siblings, Roger, Vernon, Lorraine, & Daynah; grandchild Jawnni Rose and great grand-child Brennan. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, 5/3/18 at Cremation Society of MN, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN at 3PM, greetings at 2PM. Honor guard ceremony will be held 1PM, Friday, 5/4/18 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, N4063 Veterans Way, Spooner, WI.
