Roberta P. "Bobbie" (Petersen) Johnson, 76, lifelong resident of Duluth, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 27, 2015. She was born Oct. 11, 1938, in Duluth. Bobbie was a 1957 graduate of Denfeld High School. Bobbie was full of life, fun loving and the caretaker of three generations of her family. She enjoyed her reputation as "Duluth's oldest bartender" an occupation that suited her personality to a tee as she loved to be around people and have a good time. Bobbie was currently working at the Powerhouse Bar in Proctor. She was a member of the Proctor Moose and the West Duluth American Legion Auxillary. She is survived by Tom Bennett; her children, Sherry (Bob) Skutevik, Ryckie (Mike) Potvien, Toni Collins, Kim, David, Jimmy and Paul Johnson; five grandchildren, Philip, Destany, Devon, Hanna and Tyler; four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Daxton, Sonja and Isabelle; a sister, Chris (Sig) Person and brother, David (Shirley) Petersen; and her beloved chihuahua, Tini. The family would like to thank St. Luke's Hospital I.C.U. for their excellent care and compassion. GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. celebration of Bobbie's life Thursday, May 7, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., 218-624-5200.
