Miriam earned her master's degree from St. Louis University (Registered Dietician). Miriam married Jack in 1954 and began their life together of 61 years. Miriam and Jack's children, spouses, grandchildren and great grandson were the recipient of much love and endless affection. She was a strong, faith filled woman who cared deeply about her family and friends. Much of Jack and Miriam's free time was spent enjoying and sharing their cabin with family and friends. Miriam took every chance she could to play bridge with her friends and family. She recently scored a whopping 4500 points (that's a really big deal!) which virtually guarantees her a chair at the big bridge table in heaven. Miriam was a founding member of the infamous GABS which were a constant in her life for 50 years. She cherished holiday celebrations, baking, reading, dining out, shopping, and most recently spending precious time with her new great grandson who put her "on top of the world". In recent years, Miriam developed close and loving friendships with the staff at Mount Olivet Careview Home where Jack resides. Her professional career included 29 years as a clinical dietician at St. Mary's Hospital where she made lifelong friendships. For the past 18 years, she worked at Current Technology, Inc. until April, 2015 where she was loved and appreciated for all of her hard work and dedication. Miriam was a long time member of Pax Christi where she loved to share the liturgy with her close friends. Miriam's tireless love and devotion to her family will be missed forever but never forgotten.
