Obituary of Carol J. Hyke

Carol J. (Cook) Hyke, age 78, of Andover, MN, formerly of Mesa, AZ & Waterloo, IA, passed away 5/5/15. Graduate of UNI in Cedar Falls, IA. Taught 6th grade math at Edison Elementary in Waterloo. She was a Systems Analyst at Unisys in Eagan, MN, training staff in Canberra, Australia & multiple U.S. locations. Carol was an avid bridge player who also enjoyed golf and travel. Preceded in death by parents, Fay & Harriette Cook. Survived by daughter, Camille Hyke; grandson, Shane Muench; Adam (Chris) Muench; sister, Marilyn (Edwin) Barnes of Esmond, IL; ex-spouse, Bob Hyke; 27 year companion, Russ Schempf and Carol's Guardian Angel, Peggy. She will be with us eternally in heart and mind. Private family service will be held.
