Obituary of Margaret Milne Olson

Margaret "Mickey" Milne Olson, 81, of Duluth,, passed away May 9, 2015. Mickey died peacefully surrounded by family, her husband of 62 years, Jim, holding her hand. Mickey's passions were motorcycle riding, quilting, baking, rescuing animals and reading as much as she could. Everyone who knew Mickey is a better person for it. Preceded in death by parents Claire and James Milne; brothers John David and Richard, sister Elinore. Mickey will be missed by husband Jim Olson; children Michael, Kelly, Belinda (Steve) Barta and Patrick (Lauri); eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren who were the loves of her life. VISITATION: 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, service 11 a.m. in Hope United Methodist Church, 301 W. Marie St., Duluth. Memorials to family preferred.
