Obituary of Michael Grimsley

Michael “Mike” Grimsley, age 56, of Eden Prairie, formerly of Prior Lake. Passed away peacefully on May 12, 2015. Graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Bloomington, class of 1977. Worked as a mechanic at Borton Volvo for 27 years. Preceded in death by father, Neil and brother, Dan. Survived by loving wife, Kathleen; sons, Joseph (Veronica) and Jeremy (Danielle); mother, Mary; siblings: John, Patrick (Lisa), Terry (Dave) Simmons, Joan (Reid) Hedegaard and Rick (Mary); granddaughter, Haidyn Grimsley and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to N.C. Little Memorial Hospice or children’s cancer research fund of donor’s choice.
