Obituary of Ralph Ostendorf

Ralph “Ozzie” Ostendorf, age 83 of Bloomington & Big Birch Lake. Entered eternal life on May 21, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, John & Katherine, and brother in law M. Dale Simonson. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Lenore (Lee), children Mark (Lisa), Ann Hall and fiancé Dave Hollar, grandchildren John & Katie Ostendorf, Liam & Sabrina Hall, sister Shirley Simonson and brother Marvin (Bud) (Rosie) Ostendorf, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends. Ozzie served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Staff Sgt. He was a 15 year Univac employee and was a sales rep until his retirement. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and easy going demeanor. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 29th, 11:00a.m. Nativity of Mary Catholic Church 9900 Lyndale Avenue South, Bloomington, MN with a gathering of family & friends one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Nativity of Mary Church or Big Birch Lake Assn.
