Obituary of James J. Schneider

Age 90 of Minneapolis, MN passed away peacefully May 24, 2015 surrounded by his loving family in his home. He was born March 28, 1925 to John and Emma Schneider in Mt. Carmel, ND. James worked in home construction for over 50 years. For the past 10 years he enjoyed being a member of the 12 Apostles at Annunciation Church, and Sunday evening dinners at Grandpa's house were a highlight of the week for James and his family. He is preceded in death by his wife Caroline, siblings; Bonnie Fisher, Kathy, Allen, Jerome and Leona. He is survived by children Paula (Tom) Tierney, Joannie (Norm) Franks, Daryl (Janet), Tom, Karen (Karl) Kirschling, Jennifer (Marty) Long, grandchildren Laura (Jim), Michael, Sara, Ryan, Melissa, Scott, Erin, Grace, Kamille, Tyler, Zachery, Carter, great-granddaughter Evelyn, siblings Jean Westphal, Dorris (Donnie) Borho, Mary Spratt, Betty Popowitz, Rick, Floyd (Shirley) and many other family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM, Friday, May 29, 2015 at Annunciation Catholic Church 509 W. 54th St. Mpls., MN with a visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Allina Hospice and Annunciation Church.
