Obituary of Kenneth R Seafolk
Kenneth R. Seafolk, 74, of Hermantown, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Kenneth was born in Duluth, Minnesota on May 6, 1941 to William and Evelyn (Mehling) Seafolk Sr. He graduated from Hermantown High School where he excelled in basketball and football. He worked for several area businesses and retired in his early 60’s. Kenneth was an outdoorsman. He was one of the founders of the “Poobah Bunch” and spent many days on the lake fishing. Kenneth also enjoyed gardening, pickle making, four wheeling and snowmobiling as well as spending time at the cabin near Brimson, MN. with his family and dog. Most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Bill and sister Donna “Mae”.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Phyllis; sons, Terry, Rick (Sandy), Jim (Jodi), David and Tom (Michelle); grandchildren, Corey, Scott, Craig, Willie, Hannah, Miranda, Haley and Alivia; great-granddaughter Emmi-Jo; brother Dale (Janet) and dog Maggie.
Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9 am until the 10 am memorial service on Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN. Services entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota 218-624-5200
