Obituary of Damaris Anne “Dee” Kilo

Damaris Anne "Dee" (McEwen) Kilo, 77, of Menifee, Calif., formerly of Duluth, went to be with her Lord peacefully on June 1, 2015. She was born May 29, 1938 in Duluth to Bill and Gladys McEwen. She was a graduate of Morgan Park High School in 1957. Damaris was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kilo in 2004; beloved son, Danny Wick, Sr., in 2014; and brother, Donald McEwen in 1957. She is survived by her children, Donald Wick, Jack Wick, Jill (Dan) Darling, Tammy (Don) Collard and Liane (Bob) Feick; grandchildren Tommy (Leslie) O'Connell, Jr., Travis Peterson, Jessica, Nicole and Denise Darling, Jolene, Dustin and Katie Collard, Dan Wick, Jr.,and Lanita Feick; brothers, Bill (Gay) McEwen, Ken (Mel) McEwen and Terry McEwen; aunties, Bernice Olson and Jeanie Hendrickson; four great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Dee spent all her summers here in Duluth. Her smile will be sadly missed and her presence will always be felt.
