Hughes, Janice A. “Jan”

Age 67 of South Minneapolis passed away July 24, 2019. Graduate of Minneapolis Central H.S.  After Jan retired from the Mpls Public Housing Authority, she became a master gardener. This was a great joy to her. Jan’s second love was fishing.  She would spend many hours on Fish Lake at the family cabin. Family was her number one priority… especially the grandkids. Preceded in death by parents, Clayton Sr. and Lorna; sister, Leslie.  Survived by her children, Robbin, Galen and Kenny; grandchildren, Jordan, Asia and Royce; brother, Clayton Jr.; and host of family and friends.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Friday, August 2nd, 11:00 am at Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis. Visitation starting at 10:00 am. Reception to follow service. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery.

In Lieu of memorials, donations are prefered to St Joseph's Home for Children, Minnesota State Horticulture Society, Angela's Nursery Home, or Crisis Nursery Minneapolis.
