Obituary of Phyllis Linda Privette

Phyllis (Phylly) Linda Privette, 80, of Saginaw MN. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26th surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was born July 5, 1941, to Ernest and Olga (Wivestad) Eckstrom. She grew up in Hermantown MN, where she graduated in 1959. Phyllis was married to Rodney Privette on July 25th, 1959, and they celebrated 58 years before Rodney passed in 2018. Phyllis was a very kind and giving person who showed her love through her baking and creating meals for not only the family, but for whomever was present at the time- you never left Phylly’s hungry. Phyllis enjoyed camping, knitting, crocheting or just a game of cards. She was quick and witty, always giving you a little smirk. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Olga Eckstrom, and her brother Kenneth Eckstrom.

Phyllis is survived by her sister Joanne Pritchett, sons Scott (Joanne), Steve (Lori), Brian (Gina).  Grandchildren, Bradley (Holly), Matt (Kathleen),  Sara (Tyler), Cody (Kathleen), Brittany (Aaron)  Jaime (Mike) Ryder.                     Great-Grandchildren, Easton, Owen, Ellie, Elijah, Greta, Mila, Kennadie, and  many loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Elysian Senior Homes and Kindred Hospice for their devotion and exceptional care.

A memorial service will be held Thursday July 14th at 3pm at  Bethlehem Lutheran Church 6537 Industrial Rd. in Twig, MN. The visitation will begin at 2 pm, and  a luncheon will follow the service.
