Obituary of Roland D Eberl

Roland D. Eberl, 75, passed away on Jan. 20, 2022, at Solvay House after a brief illness. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 13, 1946. He was known as “Candy Man” since he always carried candy with him to hand out. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, daughter, Mary Eberl, and two granddaughters, Hannah Meger and Emily Lindberg, his brother Fred (Violet) Eberl, sister, Sharon Mix, both of Duluth, and a sister, Carol Ovind, of Jonesborough, TN, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Carroll Ovind and George Eberl, a son, David, and brother, Richard. A celebration of life will be from 12 Noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at The Powerhouse Bar, 423 3rd Ave, in Proctor.
