Nelson, Betty Lou Sept. 20, 1928 - Nov. 7, 2021 age 93. High school Barron WI (1945); St. Olaf College (1949); graduate work at the University of MN. Vocal music credits include St. Olaf Choir, Carmen (U of MN); Amahl and the Night Visitors and The King and I (Westwood Church); and Britten's A Midsummer's Night Dream (Center Opera). Beloved piano teacher for 60 years. Music specialist, Wayzata schools. Preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Ronald; daughter, Eileen; son, Paul; and grandson, Bryce. Survived by daughter, Rachel; son, Peter (Wendy); and grandson, Philip.
