Patricia Polomny

Obituary of Patricia Leona Polomny

Patricia L Polomny, of Brooklyn Park, passed away on October 17th, 2020 at the age of 81.

Patricia grew up in Nowthen, Minnesota, attending a one-room schoolhouse for her education.  She met her husband, Donald while working at a deli and they were married on June 27th, 1964.  She worked as a supervisor at Diversified Plastics up until her retirement while raising their five children.

Patricia loved to be with her friends and family.  She enjoyed watching any sports on television, especially MN Twins baseball.  She loved to cook and bake food for her family and insisted that anyone that came to visit was left well fed.  She always made her guests feel welcome.  She enjoyed spending time with her children, trips to the casino, and would support her grandchildrens’ sporting events and performances in-person or even online.  Her humor was second-to-none, never failing to make someone laugh or smile along with her jokes and stories.

She is preceded by her husband Donald, her parents Ole and Hazel, and siblings Grace, Shirley, Palmer, Al, Denny and Gary.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Eck, her children Donald (Christie) Polomny, Tammy (Todd) Schwerin, Michael (Naomi) Polomny, David (Jessica) Polomny and Susan (Brian) Dahlgren, along with 14 grandchildren.

Patricia will be laid to rest beside her husband, Donald, at a private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
