Obituary of Annicka Azure Divinski

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our amazing Annicka. Annicka Azure Divinski born June 11, 2014, passed unexpectedly in her sleep on August 29, 2020, after just six short years. Born prematurely with the rare genetic condition, Nemaline Myopathy, Annicka faced a myriad of challenges and was not expected to live beyond her first day of life. She inspired all that knew her story and her determination and persistence allowed her to share her wit, intelligence, beauty, and unconditional love, permanently touching the hearts of everyone that crossed her path. She loved books, movies, her iPads, the alphabet, tracing numbers and counting and particularly loved music with a couple of favorites being “Do You Wanna Dance?” by the Beach Boys and multiple artist versions of “Ain’t No Sunshine”. She always seemed drawn to the color green and had a love for frogs and turtles. A special thanks to the numerous caregivers that went above and beyond to help make her life special.

Annicka is survived by her mother Alexia Divinski, grandmother Jodi Walfoort, grandfather Jeff Buswell, Great Grandfather John Divinski, Great Grandmothers Frances Schroeder and Deanna Funk along with many other extended family members.
