Sheila Faye Stamps
76, of Plymouth, Minnesota, passed away at home on August 19th, 2020 after being diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease this Spring. Survived by her children, Chad (Julie) Stamps, Jon Stamps; Grandchildren, Haugen and Faye Stamps; and her many wonderful friends and piano students. Sheila spent 40+ years teaching students, of all ages, a love and appreciation of music. She loved teaching piano but more importantly she loved and treasured all of her piano students. Many of her students became close and dear friends. Sheila was loved by everyone and was a valuable and irreplaceable friend to all whose life she touched. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at Minnetonka United Methodist Church, 17611 Lake St. Extension, on Friday, September 11th at 11am. The service will be held outside in the worship garden. A limited social-distance gathering would be held inside if weather dictates. There will be a graveside “remembrance” for her at Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville, Wisconsin, Saturday October 17th, 2020 at 11 am. Memorials may be directed to The Nature Conservancy or the Animal Humane Society.
