Obituary of Richard Lee Timm
Our dad passed away peacefully at the age of 77 under the loving care of family on the morning of May 23, 2020. Also known to others as Tim-Tim. His surviving children; Sheri (John), Robin (Michelle), Jennifer (Guy), Shannon (Virgil), Grandchildren; Katie (Cody), Derek, Luke, Alley, Carissa, Chase, Christian, KJ, Sister; Ravonn (Steve). Preceded in death by his parents; Jerry and Laverne Timm, younger sister Roxann and grandson Austin Roth. Our Dad/Tim-Tim had many hobbies and interests. He always looked forward to attending the annual back to the 50’s car show anticipating that someday that would be him owning a collector car as he once did as a young man in his early days. He never missed the great get together at the MN State Fair. He has been a member of the international Laurel and Hardy Society called “Block Heads” and only missing a couple monthly meetings since the early 70’s. He enjoyed watching many of the old classic tv shows such as The Little Rascals, Laurel and Hardy, Ozzy and Harriet, and The Lone Range and many more. He idolized Jim Neighbors talents of acting and singing. In the summer months you would find him hanging out at Elko Speedway and Raceway Park since the mid 80’s he was an avid race fan, sponsor, and car owner. After the races one of his fondest memories was hanging out at Geno’s Pizza after the race hanging out with many friends which we refer to as his race car family. Some referred to him as a man of many talents. He loved most of all was the Holidays with his family since he was a child. Our Dad Tim-Tim will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
We will host a Celebration of Life at a future date.
