Obituary of Mary Ann Dennis

Mary Ann (Rusinyak) Dennis, Mom, Grandma, age 87, of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, June 27, 2020 at her residence. She was born May 13, 1933, oldest daughter of Harry and Mae (Mary) Rusinyak. Mary was a sister, Aunt and Matriarch.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Donald Dennis, her sister, brother, son in laws, and nieces.

Donald and Mary were married for 63 years and had five daughters: Dawn Dennis, Cathy Almer (Mark), Peggy Dennis, Elizabeth Welch ( Rob, may he Rest in Peace), and Maria Dennis (Paul, May he Rest in Peace). Many loving grandchildren (11) Bobbie (Adam), Donald (Heather). Mary Beth (Josh), David (Rose), Rachel (Mike), Theresa (Trenton), Greg (Sonia), Matthew, April (Dakota), Ryley, Kaylee. Even more to love were her great grandchildren (11) Christopher, Onnaleah, Katie, Leighton, Oliviah, Alayna, Daisy, Charlotte, David, Robert, Stella. She also leaves many other caring family members and good friends behind who will sadly miss her.

Mary was a long-time member of Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, doing crafts, and visiting casinos. Easter was her favorite holiday so that time of the year was always special to those that knew her.

You have left our lives but you will never leave our hearts. You will be deeply missed.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 6th, 2020, 10:30AM at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Brooklyn Park: 9100 93rd Avenue N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445

Private interment for Donald and Mary will take place on Friday, August 7th.
