Obituary of Charles Allen Bonneville
Charles Allen Bonneville, age 64, of Burnsville, passed away surrounded by his family on January 28, 2020.
Chuck was born August 26, 1955 in Duluth, Minnesota to Charles (Chuck) and Patricia (Patsy) Bonneville. On June 21, 1975 he married the love of his life, June Stawicki, in Rapid City, South Dakota. They raised two sons, Jeremy and Jason.
In life, Chuck was an avid reader and was always on a quest for the next new novel or anything that really sparked his interest. He has always loved music and even taught himself to play the guitar in the last few years. He had many other talents, including gardening, woodworking, and antiquing and he was the self-proclaimed best cook in our entire family. He was constantly researching new recipes and cooking techniques and had more kitchen gadgets than Martha Stewart. Chuck was always up for an adventure – especially if it involved his family and friends. Like his mother, Chuck made friends easily, treating friends like family, forming strong lifelong connections.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother Patsy and brother Casey. He is survived by his loving wife June, son Jeremy, son Jason (Sarah), father Chuck, sister Kathy (Marty), sister Mary (Brett), brother Jeff (Jolene), grandsons Owen and Charlie, and many brother & sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The celebration of Chuck’s life will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4625 West 125th Street, Savage, MN 55378. Visitation is at 10:00 am with service beginning at 11:00 am. Lunch will be held immediately afterwards in the church atrium for those who would like to spend additional time with the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in honor of Chuck to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
