Stier (Wilken), Marlene L.

Age 80 of Minnetonka; formerly of Grand Forks ND passed away December 23, 2019. Born in Grand Forks, December 4, 1939. She was a daughter of Walter and Gladys Wilken. She attended Aakers Business College and was a retired flight attendant for Northwest Airlines (Delta). Marlene enjoyed traveling to many foreign countries. She was an avid gardener, gourmet cook, and collector of antiques. She lived mostly in Minnetonka, where she attended Our Savior Lutheran Church.

For many years, Marlene spent summers walleye fishing and enjoying her lake home at Zippel Bay in northern MN. Preceded in death by husband, Stanley Stier; son, Michael Milne; brother, Paul Wilken. Survived by sister, Ardelle (Mrs. John) Gottschalk of Richfield, MN; 5 nieces; 1 nephew. Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 am, January 11th at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 6544 16th Avenue South, Richfield MN 55423. Reception to follow.  Private interment. Memorials may be given to SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) or The Lutheran Hour of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod.
