Obituary of Norma Florence Peterson

It is with great sadness to announce that Norma Peterson of Richfield MN passed away on December 16, 2019 at the age of 93. She is preceded in death by her two siblings and husband of 58 years, Neil “Doc”. Survived by two daughters Vicki (Tim) Barry and Terri (Tom) Branson; four grandchildren, Laura (Dan), Tyler, Corey, and Travis; two great granddaughters, Brooklynn and Brooklyn.

Norma retired from IDS (Ameriprise) after 30+ years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and Sunday picnics. Doc and Norma also enjoyed many walks around Lake Nokomis.

Thanks to all the good people who touched her life, including friends at Village Shores Senior Living, her home the last six years. Thanks to Allina Hospice for your care this past year and all the nurses and aids who cared for her in her final weeks at Aurora on France.

A private family gathering and interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. We will always love you and you will be dearly missed.
