Obituary of Marlan Doose

Marlan Doose, son of Lorraine Doose nee’ Olsen, passed away on Friday, November 22nd, from pneumonia and underlying health issues. Marlan will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and his loving nature. Marlan’s great passion was cooking. He was both creative and highly skilled in his approach, and invested great time and study to the art. He also dabbled in making bead jewelry and often donated his creations to various charities for fundraising. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Marlan is survived by his sisters Jonita Gomez and Deb Doose, his nephew Gabriel Gomez, and his partner of 38 years, Steve Rogers. An informal memorial service is planned for some time after the holidays.
