Obituary of Ronald D. Orinstien

Orinstien, Ronald D. "Woody" age 87 of St. Louis Park, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 12, 2019. Survived by wife of 62 years, Marian; children, Matt (Sandy), Julie, Lynn (Jeff) Johnson and Greg (Maria); grandsons, Brandon, Danny, Grant, Sam and Luke; extended family and many loving friends. A veteran of the Korean War. Woody had many notable careers, Lockheed and Aerojet General (where he participated in the Space Program), then onto Control Data, eventually becoming a realtor with ReMax. Woody was a Golden Glove boxer back in the day and went on to become a respectable golfer. Above all else Woody loved and was loved by his family. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. A celebration of life Thursday, Sept 19 from 5-8 PM at the home of his daughter, Lynn, 4124 Ensign Ave N, New Hope. Memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society. A special thanks to Park Nicollet Hospice for their compassionate care of Woody and his family.
