Obituary of Peter B Mattson

Age 64 of Plymouth passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends after a brief and brave struggle with ALS. Peter will be fondly remembered for his devotion to family and friends. He loved golf, fishing, and cheering for the Vikings and Twins. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Janelle; siblings, Peggy (Kevin) O’Neill and Paul (Jill) Mattson; sister-in-law, Jill (Jeff) Vakoc; and beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Jim and Gerry (Belseth) Mattson. A celebration of Peter’s life will be held Monday, July 22nd, 2:00 pm at Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park. Visitation starting at 1:00 pm.  Reception to follow service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society or the ALS Association.
