Obituary of Nancy Dee Stehr

Stehr, Nancy Dee (Hyde) Age 80, of Burnsville. Nancy went home to be with her precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 4, 2018. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Rollie; daughters, Julie Checco (Steve), Kathy Barron (Matt), Cindy Berghuis (Dave), grandchildren Chloe, Lauren, Luke, Tommy, Emily and Ben; sister, Mary Murphy (Wayne), along with many, many dear relatives and friends. Nancy was born to Robert and Dorothy Hyde on November 4, 1938 in Minneapolis. She attended Roosevelt High School, and the University of MN, where she was a proud member of Pi Beta Phi. She was an elementary school teacher whose love and passion for teaching touched many lives. The essence of Nancy was her incredible love for her family and her friends. She deeply cherished her family above all else, and was immersed in every aspect of her children's and grandchildren's lives. She had an amazing gift for making everyone she met a friend. Her love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Feed My Starving Children. Visitation Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, 5-8 pm. A service to celebrate Nancy's life will be Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior. Reception to follow service. Both will be at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Drive, Burnsville, MN.
