Obituary of Connie Moore
Connie Moore, 64, of Minneapolis, died Thursday November 9, surrounded by her friends and family. Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward Moore. She is survived by three children : daughter Teresa Cyrus (Rajeev) and sons Daniel Moore (Rachel) and Nathan Moore. She is also survived by her grandchildren Hayden, Glenn, Hannah, Micah and Jacob, her siblings Kevin and Tammy, and her loving friends Peg, Judith, Zaneeta, Parker and Drew. Connie had a rich career as a school teacher and vocational rehabilitation counselor. She was passionate about underserved populations and often gave the gift of her time to those in need. She will be remembered as the best best friend grandma in the world, a devoted mother and a mentor in the queer community. Celebration of life will take place Saturday 12/1 at Tinto Kitchen in Minneapolis from 4-8pm. Please consider memorials to OutFront MN.
