JAVINNO PURICELLI posted a condolence
Thursday, November 22, 2018
On the day that the whole nation will show Gratitude and Appreciation, giving thanks for the people that they love in this life or what they’ve been blessed with. However it is with a heavy heart that I extend my most sincere condolences to the Family of James Hamilton, IV on this day.
Although I did not know him personally, I did however have a very strong connection to one of his daughters and her Family, Elizabeth Hamilton Guarino (Peter)… So when I went to wish them a very Happy Thanksgiving this year, I was given this heartbreaking news of her Father’s passing and I immediately felt compelled to write and console her and her loved ones in this time of bereavement.
Death is never an easy thing to deal with or adjust to, never. And though death comes for us all, at any given time or moment, the best way I’ve found to cope with it, is to cherish every waking moment that you possibly can with those in which you hold dear.
That way you have a vast treasure trove of memories you can refer to and hold onto whenever you need it.
So with that said, be grateful for the fine example that James Hamilton, IV set throughout his life. And take those principles and apply them to your life, because that’s how you can keep his spirit alive…
Sincerely
Javinno Puricelli

Jim ,
You have been an inspiration to every person whose life you have touched ...and you have touched many! I wish I would have allowed you to be a role model for me. God knows you would have been good for me. You have accomplished more in your lifetime , then most people could have in three lifetimes. You have a beautiful wife and beautiful children that love you unconditionally and anyone would be proud to call them their own ! I firmly believe this is a very special time to celebrate ...yes, mourn because we can’t physically touch you right now...but celebrate because you entered a well deserved paradise! A place where you can run on a warm sandy beach, where you can feel the sand slide between your toes and feel the warm breeze through your hair. A place free of pain...free of sadness...and free of fear! I know you are walking hand in hand with Jesus, waiting patiently, but not eagerly , for Carolyn to join you in paradise. I know that you are looking down upon her smiling, whispering to her everyday, telling her that it is OK. That you now know peace and you will forever know the love that you and Carolyn shared !
Jim, you will be missed very much. Until I meet you in paradise, enjoy your well deserved life everlasting !! You are very much loved!!
Dustin

Jim was an amazing person. He was an honorable man, spoke nothing but the truth, and very humble. He was wise beyond his years and had more love for those around him than Nyone could imagine. I was very lucky and fortunate to know Jim. I met Jim and his family a quite some time ago, and he welcomed me with open arms. I spent many summers living in his home with him and his family and he treated me just the same as family. The news of his passing was very difficult to hear. We lost a great man but our creator and ancestors gained a star that easily outshines any other. Baamaapii Kiiwaabimo (Until we see you again).

Taking care of Jim was both a privilege and fun. We watched movies, football and baseball games, CNN and stories about aliens. Sometimes we talked for hours about a single subject or even a single word. I met him many years ago. He and Carolyn came down to Houston TX where I lived. We took them out sailing on Galveston Bay. He was a real trooper about it! I didn't realize at the time that he didn't swim. He had his own boats so it just didn't dawn on me. We had a great time I must say. He called me and asked if I could come to Carolyn's 40th birthday as a surprise. She certainly was surprised when she found me in their living room! He was so very thoughtful when it came to his family and friends. I have taken care of him so long that at this time I feel a huge loss. I have lost a very good friend. My family, Kelly, Greg and Gwynnie, Matthew, Jen, Jessie, Dylan and Alexie all will miss his stories and his friendship. Thankfully, one of his books published so each of us will always hold that close to our hearts. Jim please watch over your family and friends. I will do my best to continue to be a very close friend to Carolyn and help her through these days. Rest in peace my friend.

Dear "Dad",
We are totally lost without you. Have searched everywhere and are sitting on the landing of the steps waiting for you to walk through the door.
We are going to miss your constant petting, compliments, treats and company.
We're putting one paw in front of the other.... and are being consoled by the family.
Love, Mitsy and Kitsy

I'd like to thank the family for all the work they've done to help people by sharing their talents, love, compassion, and joy. They've been selfless in their goals to reach out to prison inmates, those challenged by poverty, addiction, and mental health issues. My prayer this day is that the Holy Spirit of God raises us up in healing and binds the family together in His Love and Peace. Thank You.

I have no words that can say how lovely the Hamilton family is. My family hosted them many years ago at our resort on lake vermilion. They were fabulous guests and Jim talked to me a lot as I was a young worker at the resort telling me all about the video Hollywood business. Fascinated I was as it sticks out as the best family I was ever able to meet. My heart goes out to the family.

James and Family,
I know not of your personally but I am a friend of Elizabeth's.
She is an amazing light in this world with her messages of hope and understanding. Through this message we have developed an opportunity to work professionally and personally to make a difference in many lives. Through our shared love of baseball we have mentored many with positivity and a message of the value of a strong work ethic.
James, this is a testament to you sir. I thank you for raising Elizabeth to be an upstanding, open minded, and free spirit. Through you she continues your teachings and this will impact many lives for the better as she always brings out the best in everyone she reaches.
James be assured your legacy is in good hands through your children and grand children.
Until we meet on the other side of the light and across the bridge, I say to you,
A life well lived, well loved, and well done, is no easy task but you made it look easy. Godspeed and rest easy.
