He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Russell and Gerri Arehart, Florence, SC, sister-in-law Peggy Conrad, Abilene, TX; 6 nieces; 7 nephews and his long-time friend Dorothy Bowers, also his very good friend and hunting buddy, Nick Turman.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Lake View Memorial Hospital, Franciscan Health Center staff, the hospice team and social services for making Carroll's last months as comfortable and pain free as possible. Your caring and compassion were greatly appreciated.
In honoring Carroll's request, there will be no funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Minnesota.
