Obituary of Ernest C. Swinson

Age 79, of Minneapolis died on April 9,2024. Survived by spouse Lisa, daughters Rhea(Johnnie), Saafi, and Jessica; grandchildren Sasha, Annie, Anika, Reena, Keigh Sana, and JD; sisters Mary Ann and Laura, brother Joe; and many nieces,nephews, and great nieces and great nephews; many other friends and relatives.
Ernie worked in his Minneapolis community for many years and was proud to have been a teacher and mentor at Nawayee Center School as well as a non-profit community organizer. Ernie also sold hand-sculpted candles at his shop, Hobbit Candles, at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival for many years and was an avid fisherman. As Ernie would have said, he was a manifestation of the life force of the universe and so many of us were fortunate to have passed this way with him, may he Rest in Power and Rest In Peace
