Steven Paul Everett, age 74, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on August 3, 2026.

Steven was born on December 22, 1951, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota, to Gordon Everett and Janine Gerard.

Steven was a talented and passionate musician whose love for music was a lifelong part of who he was. A gifted bass player, he played in many bands throughout the years and continued making music until the end of his life. Music brought him joy, and he shared that passion with those around him.

Outside of music, Steven loved golf and was proud to have achieved more than one hole-in-one during his years on the course. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and music recitals. He had a unique personality, a playful sense of humor, and an eccentric way of looking at the world., alwayse seeing the best in people. His jokes were meant for those who knew him, appreciated his originality and the way he brought laughter into their lives.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Everett and Janine Gerard, his wife, Jill Puglisi, and his daughter, Bridgette Everett.

He is survived by his son's, Burton Everett (Lexi); Grant Everett (Andrea) daughter Gina Everett; his brother, Brad Everett; and his 14 grandchildren.

Steven will be remembered for his musical talent, his love of family, his humor, and the unforgettable way he lived life on his own terms.

 A service to honor Steve's life will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation to follow at the Duluth Bible Church 201 W St Andrews St, Duluth, MN 55803 Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his life and share memories.
