Michael Bruce Morse, 64, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on July 6, 2026. He was born on August 20, 1961, in Duluth, Minnesota.

Michael was known for his humor, his outgoing and playful personality, and his incredible ability to make others laugh. He touched the lives of many with his warmth, energy, and genuine spirit. Michael had a deep love for traveling, which he embraced as a way of life—his “never-ending summer.” He often said, “That’s how we live,” finding joy, freedom, and adventure in every moment. This philosophy shaped the life he lived and the countless memories he created with those he loved. A proud and driven man, Michael was diverse in his talents and passions. His life’s work spanned business, fitness, and service in the National Guard. He also had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing the drums, using it as an outlet to express his vibrant personality.

Micheal was preceded in death by his mother Marion Wicklund.

Michael is survived by his father, Thomas Morse; his sisters, Bernice Abel (Alex Abel) and Debra Morse; his nieces and nephews, Luke Abel, Kyle Abel, Carmen Chapman, and Christopher Becker; three great-nieces and nephews; and his fiancée and life partner, Nicole Skallman, with whom he shared a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Michael was truly a remarkable man—full of life, talent, and heart. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. Though he is gone, his laughter, his love, and his “never-ending summer” will live on in the hearts of those he touched. You were my everything, and I will never stop loving you.
