Wilma (Willie) Joyce Moe passed from this earth to her heavenly home on July 4, 2026. She was born in Duluth Minnesota on July 30, 1934 to Clayton and Vienna Stageberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, Janet Hemmen and Carol Curtis, and her daughter Karla Moe.  Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 66 years, Jack, her son Terry Moe, daughter Karine Moe as well as many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Willie grew up in Floodwood MN on a small farm. She graduated from Floodwood High School and then went on to get her degree at UMD as a Home Economics teacher. She taught Home Economics for over 28 years mainly at Edgewood Middle School in Mounds View while she was living in New Brighton.  She loved to cook, to sew, to visit with friends and to play cards with her family and friends.  She also enjoyed taking care of her flowers and garden.  She really enjoyed the family camping trips. She developed many close friendships while attending Atonement Lutheran Church in New Brighton where she also played the organ. Playing the organ at church was one of her passions in life and she continued to play after moving to Brookston at Immanuel Lutheran Church and finally at Hope Lutheran Church in Floodwood. She played her last service at the age of 91 in February of 2026. Willie also enjoyed working on the Stoney Brook Township where she finally had to retire in March of 2026. Willie was a blessing to all who got to know her. She was full of energy and survived many battles. She will be deeply missed.
