Donald "Don" David Dukatz age 89, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026 surrounded by his sons and grandsons. Don is preceded in death by his wife Sharane, his parents, Dave and Grace, and his brother Fred.

Don will be missed greatly by his sons, Mark and Kirk (Amy), grandsons Jason, Jacob and Alex, sister-in-law Rose, his neighbors and many friends. Don was passionately involved in his son's hockey and baseball associations as both a coach and board member. He continued this passion with his grandson's hockey and lacrosse, being regularly present and cheering them on during their games.

Don and his brother Fred started an annual fishing trip to northern Minnesota, with the sons and eventually grandsons, a 35 year tradition that continues to this day. Don cherished this week filled with laughter, bonding and competitive cribbage games. He will always be with us.

Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 29 at 11:00 AM, with Visitation at 10:00 AM, at Holy Name Catholic Church, 155 Co. Rd. 24, Wayzata, MN 55391. Luncheon to follow Mass. Private burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Maple Grove.

Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society or the University of Minnesota Arboretum.
