Shelby L. Walker, age 33, of rural Harris MN, left us far too soon. Shelby’s smile & personality were a blessing. He was kind, compassionate & always helped others. He excelled at fixing small & large engines & most anything else. Shelby was inquisitive & found the stock market fascinating for investing. 

He liked playing golf & loved his May 2026 trip to Europe with his grandparents & uncle. Most of his life, Shelby could be found enjoying Back to the 50's events, accompanied by his girlfriend Samantha Troff; a gift of presence to his father & paternal grandfather Walker each year. 

Shelby & his adored partner Sam shared a life full of adventures, travel, learning, wildlife exploration, & beloved pets. Our loss of them together, each an only child, has created a void that can never be filled.

Shelby graduated from North Branch High School. He went to Dunwoody Institute graduating Magna Cum Laude. He loved working as a Machinist at Regal Machine in Wyoming MN, where he was described as intertwined with everyone, not only because of his depth of knowledge & approachability, but because of his fun, warm & friendly teaching spirit.

Shelby is the beloved son of Lora Walker and Christopher & Robin Walker. Survived by grandparents Suzan Sinna & Joseph Manley, Joyce Waller, Mary Jane Walker; aunts & uncles Jeffrey Sinna, Jason & Andrea Walker, Jason Lamminen (Renee), Kathi Lamminen (James), Danielle (Bob) Whebbe, Andrew Hetchler;  cousins Michael & Matthew Walker, Alexander (RaeLynn, Avery & Elisa) Lamminen, Allison (Michael) & Madeline Lamminen,  Ethan & Cayden Whebbe;  step-siblings Colton (Shelbi & Bruce) Butler, Maddison (Gavin & Novalee) Mitchell, Lucky Butler, Landon & Eden Weiskopf; & dear friends David Bodine, Kenny King & Aaron Foley.          

Two Celebrations of Life will be held.  Please join us at either or both as your time permits.

Forecasted Storms won’t stop us from honoring Shelby and Samantha with the most incredible Celebration of Their Lives! Thanks to the kindness and long term cherished relationship between Shelby, Samantha, and the Pine Haven Farm Family- Pine Haven has graciously opened their doors (off season) to allow us an indoor facility for us to come together tonight. 

Fri. 6/19/26 from 4 pm to dusk – Pine Haven Farm & Event Center located at 28186 Kettle River Blvd, Wyoming, MN 55092 Join us at a 4pm gathering followed by a brief message and memory share. Throughout, A Walk With Shelby and Sam will take place to honor them both.

Sat. 6/20/26 Service at 11 am - Veritas Chapel. 34888 Kable Ave, North Branch

Private interment at Elmhurst Cemetery.   Memorials preferred to Northwoods Humane Society, Wyoming MN or donor’s choice.
