Remembrance:

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Erik Dundurs. He left this world on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. His departure has left us with a deep sense of loss and sadness.

A Life Well-Lived:

Erik Dundurs was born on April 20th, 1947, in Augsburg, Germany. He came to Minnesota with his parents when he was a young child. He spent his life in the Wayzata/Minnetonka area and enjoyed a home on Lake Minnewashta.

Family Bonds:

Erik was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Dundurs; together they created a beautiful legacy of love and devotion. He was also preceded in death by his parents Ruta and Erik Dundurs.Erik is survived by his twin sons, Dustin (Brittany) and Chase (Leah) Dundurs, who were his pride and joy, and grandchildren Gus, Chelsea, Sunny, and Oakley.

Remembering His Life:

Erik worked professionally in the land and sea shipping industry. He had a passion for outdoor hobbies such as skiing, kayaking, riding his bike, and sailing on his sailboat. He also enjoyed playing board games, cheering on Minnesota sports teams, and loved golf.

Final Farewell:A gathering to celebrate the life of Erik will be held at Boom Island Brewery (5959 Baker Rd #320, Minnetonka, MN 55345) on Sunday, July 12th from 2-4pm. We invite you to join us in sharing stories, laughter, and tears as we pay tribute to his life.

As we bid farewell to Erik we carry his spirit within us, cherishing the memories and lessons he bestowed upon us. We will miss Erik's sharp wit with a gentle heart, along with his brilliant mind and  wicked sense of humor. May his soul find eternal peace.
