Doug Forster Obituary

       Age 91, of Bloomington passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026. Preceded in death by loving wife, Nancy and siblings. He will be missed by his children, Clare (Alan) Smith and Jay (Amber) Forster; grandchildren, Gabby, Erin, Nick, Cate; great-grandchild, Laila, special godson, Gary (Jen) Moore. He will be remembered for his walk with Jesus and his love for his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchild. Also, his love of sports (especially the Twins), his daily cold Coca-Cola, and donuts. Private services will be held with interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The family would like to thank the caring and loving staff at Sunrise of Edina and Brighton Hospice.

Doug and Nancy Forster will be laid to rest together, on August 3rd, at 2:00pm. The burial of their ashes will occur at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, with military honors.

**Fort Snelling requires that guests in attendance arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early.**
