Sandra Lillian (Giacomuzzi) Timm, 76, of Duluth, MN, passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2026.  

Born February 22, 1950, in Duluth, MN to parents Alexander and Lillian (Wiitala) Giacomuzzi. Graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1968. Sandra married the love of her life David Gene Timm on September 4th, 1970.

Life led her down a new path of finding herself through faith and higher education, she graduated from Anoka Community College in 1986. She continued to advance her career and finally retired in 2011 as a Trauma Registrar. She was very active in the Gary New Duluth Community Club and volunteered with many other organizations, helping where and however she was needed.  

She proved to be a force of strength and resilience for her family and friends. Her generosity knew no bounds.

She is survived by her son Ivan (Sandi) Timm, daughter Gloria Timm (Tony Bucci), Grandchildren Dillion and Dakota Timm, Adam and Matthew Bucci, Great Grandchildren Ayden, Danyelle, Lucy and Sage Timm, Alice and Vincent Bucci. Brother Alex (Nancy) Giacomuzzi, Sister-in-law Peggy Madaras and her cousins, niece and nephews. And her loyal companions Bobbie and Gypsy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband David, brother Ronald Madaras, sister Carol Danberg and Brother-in-law Russell Danberg.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, June 12 at 11:00 am with a visitation one hour prior at First Memorial Funeral Chapel/Cremation Society on 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55807. A luncheon will follow the service with a graveside ceremony at Oneota Cemetery at 2:00 pm, 6403 Highland Street, Duluth.
