Margery Ann Dahl (Kern), age 98, of Duluth, MN, passed away on June 2, 2026. A family celebration will be held at a later date.

Margery Ann Dahl, known lovingly as “Marge” to family and friends, was born on May 5th, 1928, to Lillian (Larsen) and Ralph Kern, in Duluth, MN. After graduating from Central High School, Marge married William (Scotty) Dahl in 1951. During their fifty-eight-year marriage, she lovingly raised three children while also being a vibrant member of her community. She was one of the original “Arena Auditorium Girls” at the facility now known as the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center, where she worked in Concession booth #8 for twenty-five years.

Her dedication to service also included volunteering at the Gift Shop at Saint Luke’s Hospital. She was a long-time, active member of the Ensign Garden Club, the Eastern Star Trinity Chapter, and the Hillside Methodist Church.

In her spare time, Marge enjoyed going camping and golfing, sewing, and baking. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her friends and family.

Marge is survived by her two daughter Debbie (Bruce) Bennett and Carolyn (Jim) Eales; son Mark (Tina) Dahl; and her many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Scotty Dahl; parents Lillian and Ralph (Happy) Kern; sister Mona Johnston; and brothers Bob and Dick Kern.
