Susan Paige (Daly) Corning was born on Dec. 20, 1950, to Marvin and Betty Daly. She is preceded in death by her husbands: Michael McDonald, Terrance Shannon, and Robert Corning. In her immediate family, she is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Betty Daly, brother Michael Daly, her sister Cindy Russ, and her niece Tamara (Russ) Brown. In her blended family, she is preceded in death by her stepson Steve Corning. 

She is survived by her sister Amy (Dave) Beery and her 3 children: Michelle, John (Lisa) and Melissa (Tim) and 3 step children: Katie, Kelly, Kristine and 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. 

Sue died peacefully on May 14, 2026.

Upon death, Sue wished to have her organs donated. As a result, she was able to donate 2 kidneys immediately. Additional donations will positively impact many more recipients.

Sue lived life to the fullest and could find a good time anywhere. She loved to laugh, have fun, and brought joy to those around her. She lit up every room she entered and always wore a big smile.

She loved music and singing, and Christmas was one of her favorite times of year. Sue collected countless Christmas houses and decorations that brought warmth and joy to her home.

Sue also loved games and cards — and if you played with her, you knew to be ready because she moved fast and kept the game going.

She maintained lifelong friendships with several of her high school friends and was devoted to her church family at Faith Family Church.

Sue will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Celebration of Life will be held at Real Life Co-op, 12575 Pleasant Ave. So. Burnsville MN 55337 in the Great Room, on Monday, June 15th from 9am-12pm. Coffee and cake will be served. Please bring a story to share during the open mic.
