Crystal Deanna Flowers-Turner passed away unexpectedly on May 15th, 2026

Crystal was born on October 24, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois to David M Flowers and Constance K Vaxter.

Crystal graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, MN in 2007. Crystal had begun a career in cosmetology when she met Andre Turner. In 2013 they welcomed a baby girl, Amiya. Crystal and Andre were married on February 12, 2016. Crystal was a stay-at-home mom caring for her family that she loved so much.

As a child, Crystal enjoyed visiting the homestead in Three Rivers, Mississippi where she enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her cousins. She also enjoyed roller skating, playing basketball and volleyball, but fashion was her passion. She loved anything involving clothing, hair and cosmetics and it showed in how sharply she dressed. Crystal also enjoyed cooking, baking and going to the movies.

Most importantly, Crystal loved God, her family and her friends.

Crystal is survived by her husband of 10 years, Andre; her daughter, Amyia; her father, David M Flowers (Minneapolis, MN); her mother, Constance K Vaxter and brothers, Quentin E Biggs, Jerrell M Perryman and Malcolm F Jenkins. Crystal is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Crystal’s Celebration of Life service will be:

Time for reflection and gathering will be 10:00-10:50

Service will begin at 11:00

There will be a repast after the memorial service where we can share stories and fellowship with one another.
